Amending motion - Additional Overnight Space: That Council approve the additional next steps recommendations outlined in Report CSSS25-008 dated June 23, 2025 of the Commissioner of Community Services, as follows: 1. That an Overnight Warming Space be approved to operate from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 to be funded with a pre-commitment of the 2026 operating budget of $300,000 and $150,000 from the Social Services Reserve for the 2025 portion; 2. That the Commissioner of Community Services be authorized to do such things as necessary in consultation with the Treasurer and in forms acceptable to the City Solicitor to implement the components of this report including the determination of the location for such Warming Space and the operator.
