Delegate grant authority; authorize emergency preparedness agreement

a) That a by-law (By-law 23-163, Being a by-law to delegate authority respecting applications by the City for third party grants to the City) be passed authorizing the Treasurer, or his delegate, to submit funding applications, receive and manage grant funding; and b) That, if the grant application is successful, the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the Community Emergency Preparedness Grant transfer payment agreement and any subsequent corresponding agreements or amendments, on terms acceptable to the Commissioner of Finance and Corporate Support Services, and in forms acceptable to the City Solicitor and, if required by the Province, a by-law be passed authorizing the same.
