Council approve the allocation of $150,000 from the Social Services Reserve to support the creation and operation of temporary emergency shelter spaces, ensuring immediate protection for unsheltered individuals during the winter months. 2. Staff be directed to work with community partners and agencies to implement this initiative as quickly as possible, identifying an appropriate location and ensuring necessary supports are provided. 3. That staff return in September with an enhanced emergency winter response plan.
