Amended Recommendation: That Social Services be directed to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified community organizations with experience in homelessness and wellness support, for the provision of additional low-barrier shelter beds within the City of Peterborough in accordance with the Procurement By-law, subject to funding and that staff report back to Council with a list of all organizations that submitted proposals in response to the RFP.
