Whereas, section 7(3) of O. Reg. 530/22 indicates that Council may pass a resolution making an amendment to the budget proposed by the Head of Council within 30 days of receiving the proposed budget, and; Whereas, section 7(4) of O. Reg. 530/22 permits Council to pass a resolution to shorten the 30 day period to make an amendment to the budget proposed by the Head of Council. Be it resolved, that Council shorten the period to amend the budget proposed by the Head of Council to today’s date, December 11, 2023.
