Request report on adult pre-charge diversion program

Whereas, there has been a youth diversion program designed to divert people from the justice system and into the mental heath system. Discussions are ongoing to expand the program to divert at-risk adults away from the justice system and into mental health and social agencies in the community. Therefore be it resolved. That staff request that the Peterborough Police Services Board share their report on the adult pre-charge diversion ticket program and bring to a future General Committee meeting.
